Came into work today without any delays. Shepard Road was open and flowing.
Much calmer than yesterday at 3:00 pm. The hoodlums are either still sleeeping
or still booked at the City Jail.
Have almost no coverage of the "real peace march" but the New SDS (Students for Democratic Society) got tons of coverage. Let me say that those I saw yesterday did not look like any students I remember going to school with.
Lots of individual protesters out and about but nothing organized as of 3:00 pm. Went out at lunch. Anita's Cafe at the Landmark was dead. Only six other people in there beside us. They closed down Wabasha St between 5th and 6th. A bomb scare brought in lots of police. Turns out the UPS guy left a package behind and was on his way back to pick it up before it got blown up. See what others think Voice of America and BBC News.
