RNC- Tuesday night after work.

Went for a stroll from 5:15 to 6:15 pm after work. Saw lots of goofballs in front of the MSNBC studio trying really hard to get camera time. Saw both MN US Senators. Amy Klobuchar was being interviewed by David Gregory and Norm Coleman was hanging out by the St. Paul Hotel.

Delegates were moving from the steady stream of buses into the X from 4th St in front of the Library.

Walked down to Mears Park to see the rally. Police told me that they estimated 2,000 people were in and around the park. The park is boarded by Sibley/Wacouta/6th and 5th St. I left before any
marching got started. Lots of police in riot gear, on horses and on bikes.

Absolutely no problems getting out of downtown. Out to 5th, left onto Wabasha
and out to 94 West.
