I find it so ironic that the RNC is meeting at a spot close to Lock and Dam # 1 on the Mississippi River and Mother Nature is causing havoc at the mouth of the Mississippi.

President Bush today announced that he will not be in St. Paul to speak to the convention due to the hurricane. He is three years way too late on responding to a federal emergency.

Please say an extra prayer for all those in the path of the hurricane.
